It is very difficult for a popular teacher to really help the students learn to the best of their abilities. Popular teachers are more concerned about their image than about pushing students to do their best. As a result, popular teachers are often too easily distracted from the class content, they make the class too easy, and they focus on the students that respond best.
Popular teachers are invariably very social. They try to show that they are interested and involved in the students’ world by discussing sports, television shows, and other things which are not related to the subject. Although such conversation may be fun for the students, it leaves less time to cover class material. I had a teacher once who was so talkative that he only completed half of the topics on the syllabus. The students like myself who were interested in learning the material had to read the second half of the textbook on our own. Sharing funny anecdotes about his weekend activities, that professor did not effectively teach what needed to be covered.
Another potential problem with popular teachers is the desire to give good grades. If a teacher fails a student, the student invariably is not happy. Therefore, popular teachers often make tests very easy so that students can get high scores. This may satisfy students who don’t care about mastering a subject, but the top students are not challenged or pushed to study and reach a higher level of understanding. Giving everyone good grades does not make the class better; itkeeps the stronger students from testing their limits.
Finally, popular teachers often focus on the students who respond well to their teaching style and keep the class entertaining. They call on those students who answer the questions in a funny way rather than students who address the topic in a thoughtful manner. They may even highlight the accomplishments of a few students during their conversations rather than trying to engage and encourage everyone. As a result, some students feel left out, and may even stop attending class. The unpopular students lose motivation and do not excel because they are ignored in favor of students that cater to the popular teacher.
Popular teachers often do a poor job in helping all students learn because they are more interested in socializing than teaching the class material, they want to give good grades rather than challenge students, and they focus on a few students who like the teacher.

The advice from grandparents have no use for their grandchildren because the world has changed a lot during the past 50 years.
Throughout the gradual changes occurring to the whole human society, the value of advice from the older generation has become one of the most controversial issues among the general public. Many youngsters are the strong supporters of the claim that the huge changes in the past half century has made the suggestions from grandparents useless. As far as I am concerned, the advice from the senior is not worth following, which is particularly true of hunting for an ideal job and receiving education.
To begin with, consider the job-hunting. With the further specification of industries, an increasing amount of new careers and job position are created, some of which are out of the understanding of the old people. For example, because of the remarkable booming of internet companies, the professional video gamers, which are considered inferior by the senior, has become a job which enjoy great popularity among the young. As a result, the standard of judging whether a job is good or not has changed a lot so that the advice from grandparents about choosing a decent job is outdated. According to a survey conducted by a newspaper titiled China Daily among 1,000 people aged over 60 about the ideal job they consider, more than 95% of the surveyed vote for the so-called iron-bowl jobs such as teachers and civil servants, which has become obsolete to some extent. Therefore, the lack of knowledge about the modern job markets makes grandparents unable to provide feasible guidance for their grandchildren.
Furthermore, the same logic can apply to the issue of getting educated. For one thing, with the advances in technology, the ways of obtaining knowledge have become diverse and various, with the result that grandparents are not accustomed to these ways. For instance, it quite common to see that pupils learn English by watching English movies played on the computers. However, grandparents may ban such behaviors of their grandchildren by claiming that using computer can do nothing but waste their time and do harm to their vision. For another, the further specification of majors in college or universities make the knowledge imparted to students today quite different from that gained by grandparents 50 years ago.Consequently, their suggestions about the major-choosing of the young people may be misleading.
Taking what has been discussed above into account, I can draw the conclusion that the advice from grandparents is not useful any more for their grandchildren for the past 50 years has witnessed so many changes especially in education and employment.

Second, there are many advantages of working in a group than working alone. Teamwork provides a worker with a cooperative, friendly and enjoyable work environment. The team can also be helpful in responding to a worker's questions and problems, therefore increase the work efficiency. Teamwork can also challenge a worker's abilities and he/she can acquire valuable experiences from it.
Third, the ability of working independently does not contradict with the ability to work in a team. For example, in a team environment, I enjoyed being a major contributor to my team. The fact that others depended on my work made me feel like I was doing worthwhile things. For example, I was in charge of the frontend for the GUI. This was very valuable Experience, because I know how important it is to work in a team.
In conclusion, I think the most important quality in a work environment is the ability to work with others in a team.

be allowed to make their own choices as they grow up, and it is doubtful the wisdom of parents spending too much time on determining the uncertain future of their children. More wisely, parents are responsible for preparing their children for the future rather than preparing the future for their children. For that matter, what is important is to allow children to have a good education and not to handicap children by making their lives seem easy.
Providing children with a good educational environment to learn life skills is preparing them to meet the challenges in the new world to come. To prevent children from being lazy in making career choices, it is advisable to encourage them to find their own career paths. In some cases, setting the future ready for their children is like making children's lives seem easy, without having to think and to work on their own terms. Given that following in parents' footprints is understandable, not all doctors should expect their children to become doctors as well, being completely indifferent to their children's own choices that may better fit. Often, the idea is to allow their children freedom to choose other work which they consider as more worth doing. It is because only when children begin knowing where their different passions lie can they make self-motivated efforts to achieve their professional goals. In other words, determining children's futures at an early stage may be wishful thinking since not every child wants to become a future doctor, or lawyer, or scientist, artist, musician, or whatever.
In conclusion, it is better to give children an education as the best way to prepare them for a future, and as well to avoid children from feeling easy for a parents-determined future. Parents should let children have no illusion of easy success in a world that is in constant change and increasingly becoming competitive. Therefore, enough is enough; spending too much time on determining children's futures is not as realistic as allowing them to make their own choices.
