The most valuable quality I learned from one of my classmates is the optimistic attitude towards work, study, life and perhaps everything. Hitherto, I still vividly recall the day when my friend first heard the news that her parents were involved in a motor vehicle accident and had been sent to hospital. The news came like a bolt from the blue and her face turned to complete pale and gloom. After days of combat with severe injuries,both of her parents did not make it and at one stage, I thought I will never see my friend again as she was too weak to even eat when we looked in on her. Fortunately, she was a lot more resilient than I thought and I was glad to see her return to the class a month later. If I were her, I would completely collapse but instead, she developed even brighter personality, she said that from now on, she will live the most positive life she possibly could and she knew that was what her parents was hoping for as well. I was deeply touched and really admired her courage and perseverance against predicament. As a role model of mine, I learned the most precious lesson from her that even you are encountering the worst scenario in life, always remember to put a smile on your face.
